Our fire company operates and maintains three fire trucks and two emergency response vehicles. Our fire trucks are designated
Engine 4-1, Engine 4-2, and Truck 4, our emergency vehicles are designated Chief 4 and Assistant Chief 4 car. All apparatus
are managed by the Engineers who ensure that the trucks are running, and have passed routine inspections and certifications.
Each apparatus is capable of fighting house fire, but are customized to meet special needs. Engine 4-1 is a fast-attack
pumper, which is smaller and more maneuverable. It lets us get to the scene quickly and deploy an initial fire attack team.
Engine 4-2 is a large volume pumper equipped with a 2,000 gallon per minute pump, large diameter hose and a 10 man crew
cab It enables us to provide large volumes of water to multiple apparatus at a fire scene.
Truck 4 is equipped for aerial operations - roof ventilation, rescue, high rise fires etc. It has an 80 foot aerial ladder
and a 1,750 gallon per minute pump.
We would like to invite any Wayne Township resident to our firehouse to take a closer look at our apparatus. Please feel
free to stop by our firehouse on Sunday Mornings around 10:00 or you can contact us to make special arrangements.
