As a volunteer organization we depend on your donations to fund us in purchasing the necessary equipment to protect your family
and property. We train year round with all of our equipment and have additional seasonally training; such as ice rescue training
in the winter or car fire training in the summer.
Our fund drive process:
Our fund drive process begins with an initial mailing sent to every resident in our area. We then wait for a given time
frame while donations are being sent to us (Preakness Volunteer Fire Comany #4, 1739 Ratzer Rd, Wayne NJ 07470).
When we recieve a donation we enter into our Fund Drive computer program (we have automated fund drive entry by implementing
a bar code system on all mailings). After a given timeframe we print up a second round of letters and send them only to those
residents who did not donate during the initial mailing.
Please note: we never solicit funds through the telephone or through a 3rd party agency. We appreciate every donation
that we receive, thank you for helping us protect you by donating.
